Finally! A Threaded Plug for those 20 pound tanks used for LP Gas Grills! These plugs not only fit the 20# tanks, but any cylinder from 4 to 40 LB with the OPD / QCC1 valve installed. These plugs are to keep everything, including water, out of your valve when installed. The silicone O-ring seals your valve so nothing, even water, can get in. No more dust, dirt, insects, mud daubers, water, or grease. Your inside rubber seals on your OPD / QCC1 need to stay clean so you get the best seal when hooking up your appliance like your grill, buddy heater, camp stove, LP Generator, or whatever else you use. These plugs allow for that and unlike the dust caps that you place over the the valve end, these stay put and will not come out when snugged down. A huge note to make is THESE WILL NOT HOLD PRESSURE. Unlike the older POL valves, OPD / QCC1 valves have their own safety shut off inside the valve. with nothing hooked up, you should be able to open the valve and be sure that gas would not come out. This is another reason to keep the inside of your valves clean; to allow the built in safety shut off to work the way it is supposed to.
